Welcome to the website of the Latter Day Deliverance Revival Church!  We are thankful that you were inspired to learn about our church. Haggai 2:9 says “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace.” We invite you to experience the greatness of God through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a spirit-filled body of believers located in the historic fifth Ward near downtown Houston Texas.  Our purpose is to minister the Word of God as stated in His letter to us (the Bible).  We invite you to participate with us in honoring the presence of the Lord in our lively and anointed worship services.

Congratulations, Kimberly McKee!

The Latter Day Deliverance Revival Church began in 1953 with the salvation and Holy Spirit baptism of its founder, the Bishop Roy Lee Kossie, Jr (1932-2018)., and his wife, the late Barbara Linton Kossie (1934-2001).  The young couple attended an A. A. Allen tent revival, an important catalyst for their more than 50-year commitment to God's purpose for their lives--to establish a deliverance center in the heart of Houston's historic Fifth Ward.

Bishop Roy Lee Kossie and Co-Pastor Barbara Linton Kossie finished their races, and Interim Pastor Viki Kossie Duncan, Bishop Kossie's oldest daughter helped "steady the ship" (Dec. 2017-Dec. 2018) in the wake of Bishop Kossie's passing. Kimberly Kossie McKee assumed the role of Senior Pastor of Latter Day Deliverance Revival Church, effective January 1, 2019.  The youngest member of the Kossie family, Kimberly was chosen by her father (the late Bishop Roy L.Kossie, Jr.,) to succeed him.

We bid Pastor Kim Godspeed as she goes forth in the strength of God to shepherd the flock at LDDRC with her loving companion, Minister Kerry McKee standing faithfully by her side.  Preach the word, Pastor Kim; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine (2 Tim. 4:2).In the words of our beloved Bishop, "It's Latter Day's time and the best is yet to come!"
